Margaret Wickey, beloved wife of John of Calgary, dear mother and mother-in-law, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at the age of 85 years. She was born in Stirling, Scotland and immigrated to Canada in 1952.
Besides her loving husband John, Margaret’s memory will be treasured by Douglas (Sandy) MacPherson, Margaret (Bernie) Sulkers, Donald (Roxie) MacPherson and grandchildren, Scott (Rachel) MacPherson, Shaun (Trish) MacPherson, Janine MacPherson, and Daniel Sulkers, as well as seven great-grandchildren. Margaret was predeceased by her first husband, L. Douglas MacPherson in 1980.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at LEYDEN’S CHAPEL OF REMEMBRANCE (304 – 18th Avenue SW) at 1:00 P.M. Interment to follow at Union Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to Canadian Cancer Society, Alberta/NWT Division, 200, 325 Manning Road NE, Calgary, AB T2E 2P5, Tel: (403) 205-3966, www.cancer.ca.
