It is with sadness that the family of Margaret Mackintosh announces her passing at the Willow Creek Continuing Care Centre at the age of 98. She leaves behind her daughter Barbara (Keith) Sabey, her son Bruce (Judy) Mackintosh; her grandchildren, Dellrae (Bill) Sharpe, Dann (Nicole) Bush, Shane (Crystal) Mackintosh; seven great-grandchildren, Tyler and Liam Bush, Bryan (Amanda) Sharpe and Michelle Yaniluk; Grady, Fynn and Sylvie Mackintosh; and two great-great-grandchildren Jessie Yaniluk and Ebin Sharpe. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Campbell, her son Don, a grandson Nic Mackintosh, a son-in-law Reg Bush and three brothers and three sisters.
Margaret was born and raised near Granum where she farmed with her husband.
A funeral service will be held at Leyden’s Funeral Home “Chapel of Remembrance” (4079 1st Street West) in Claresholm on Friday, October 11, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. Interment will follow at the Granum Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to the Porcupine Hills Lodge Foundation Box 790 Claresholm, Alberta T0L0T0.
