<div itemprop="description"> <p> Erdman, Judith Maureen </p> <p> February 18, 1955 &ndash; February 8, 2013 </p> <p> &nbsp; </p> <p> &nbsp; </p> <p> Judi Erdman, aged 57, passed away peacefully after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Judi is survived by her husband of 40 years Bill, her children Henry Erdman (Tammy), grandchildren Fallon, Savannah, Samantha, Ashley, Amy and Jenna; Denise Spencer, grandchildren Maya and Jordan; and Krista Erdman grandchildren Davyn and Kyra. She is also survived by her brothers Larry (Gladys) Torok and William (Helen) Torok as well as her sisters Carol (Morley) Angelo and Jane (Eugene) McNeely. Judi is also fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents John and Belle Torok. </p> <p> &nbsp; </p> <p> Judi showed extreme dignity and strength during her illness. She taught us that, &ldquo;Every day you need to put one foot in front of the other&rdquo;. Judi loved people. She was active in the community and at the time of her passing, was coordinating a Heroes program for FCSS. She always had a bright smile and enjoyed helping others. </p> <p> &nbsp; </p> <p> A funeral service will be held at Leyden&rsquo;s Chapel of Remembrance, 4079 1st Street West, on Friday, February 15th at 2:00 PM, with Pastor Stefan Ulrich officiating. Interment will follow at the Granum Cemetery. A reception will be held at the Claresholm Community Centre (North Hall), 59th Avenue and 8th Street West following the services. &nbsp;In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Judi, can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Alberta/NWT Division, 200, 325 Manning Road NE, Calgary, AB T2E 2P5 or cancer.ca </p> </div>
