<div itemprop="description">KEMERY, Dorothy Eileen <br />July 21, 1928 &ndash; January 27, 2014 <br /> <br /> <br />Dorothy Eileen Kemery (nee Train) of Claresholm passed away on January 27, 2014 in the Foothills Hospital, at the age of 85. Dorothy is survived by her children; Judy (Todd) Hirsch, their children Melissa (Russ) Shepherd &amp; Marc (Rhonda); Doug (Barb) Kemery, their children Chad (Brandus) &amp; Jolene (Ryan); Norma Taylor and her children Erin (Michael) Cawkwell, Amy (Jimmy) and Zac (Danielle); Susan (Darryl) Slettede, their children Shane &amp; Kristine (Matt); nine great-grandchildren, extended family and numerous friends. <br />She was predeceased by her husband Joe in 1993, her parents, Angus &amp; Millie and older sister Ethel. <br /> <br />Dorothy was born in Milo, Alberta on July 21, 1928 and lived in Woodhouse until she met the love of her life, Joe. They were married on July 28, 1952 and lived in High River for a short time before returning to Claresholm to raise their family. <br /> <br />Dorothy was a devoted Wife, Mom, Nana, Aunt, Sister-in-law and a true friend with a heart of gold. Her love of baking resulted in a great selection of goodies for everyone to enjoy. <br /> <br />A celebration of Dorothy&rsquo;s life will be held on Monday, February 3, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Leyden&rsquo;s Funeral Chapel in Claresholm, Alberta with Pastor Stefan Ulrich officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dorothy&rsquo;s memory may be made to STARS (1441 Aviation Park N.E. Box 570, Calgary, Alberta T2E 8M7). <br /></div>
