WHITE, Craig Walter
March 10, 1971 – May 26, 2013

Craig Walter White was born March 10, 1971 in Kitchener, Ontario. Craig passed away unexpectedly in China on May 26, 2013. He is the son of Margaret White and the stepson of Bob White of Claresholm. Craig was predeceased by his father Leonard White and his grandfather John Szalai. He has extended family in both Claresholm and area, as well as overseas in Hungary and many friends throughout the world. Craig was doing what he loved to do, teaching English as a second language (ESL). It was his fifth trip abroad.

Craig graduated from Willow Creek Composite High School and moved to Calgary to take classes at Mount Royal College. He then went on to the University of Calgary and graduated with distinction with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Craig’s love of travel took him far and wide. He loved music, from Latin to Irish and especially loved the Bodhran (an Irish drum) and the Tin Whistle.

Craig did a lot of volunteer work in the Claresholm area. He was an avid photographer and belonged to the local camera club. This fed his love for photography. Craig loved his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
